Cutting Down Carbs

Cutting simple carbohydrates out of you diet is a really great way to decrease the amount of energy you are eating without having to substantially reduce the portion size of your meal.














The two meals pictured weigh almost the same amount, but the pasta meal has 450 calories compared to only 300 calories for the same meal served with more vegetables and lean meat. So if you are trying to reduce your calorie intake, a low carb diet may be just what you are looking for, less energy, same size meal...both delicious!
